Who are Saxons Self Drive Hire

Saxons Self Drive Hire are a family owned rental company part of a the large UK rental chain Practical Car and Van Rental. We started car and van rental in 1998 in Biggin Hill Kent and have slowly increased our car and van hire fleet to over a hundred and twenty rental vehicles. Seven years ago we moved to our present hire site in Biggin Hill Kent and in 2005 added motorhome rental to improve our range of hire vehicles. We have carefully selected our hire motorhomes to provide attractive usable RV's.

Car Hire

We provide a complete range of modern rental cars starting from cheap economy types through small, medium and large models. You will find automatics if that is your preferred transmission covering various sizes. Our car range also covers MPVs (Multi Purpose Vehicle), SUVs (Sports Utility Vehicle) and we also have WAVs (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle). All our cars are competitively priced so if you are looking for a quality car rental then look no further.

Van Rental

Whether you are looking to move house or other personal belongings we will have a van to fulfill your requirements. We welcome commercial renters who can benefit from short or long term hire with preferential rates for regular customers. Our extensive van fleet ranges from small cargo types through SWB (Short Wheel Base) to XLWB (Extra Long Wheel Base). Our 6 seater combi van (crew van) is ideal for larger groups or workers with plenty of space for bits and bobs or tools. We have vans with tail lifts like the popular luton type and for large cargo our 7.5 ton truck.
